Ven. Mankadawala Sudassana

Venerable Mankadawala Sudassana Thero is the Chief Meditation Master of Labunoruwakanda Forest Monastery at Muruyakadawela Galenbundunuweva Sri lanka. He is known for his unique way of delivering the Buddha’s message, with his talks enriched with concepts and explanations of the application of Dhamma in daily life for the purification of the mind.

Ven. Ajahn Brahm

Ordained as a monk by Somdet Buddhajahn at Wat Saket in Bangkok 1974, Ajahn Brahm spent 9 years studying and training in the forest meditation tradition under Ajahn Chah. He is the founding father of an emergent Australian forest tradition of Buddist monasticism and has been the abbot of Bodhinyana Monastery in Perth since 1995. Ajahn Brahm today remains a popular Buddhist teacher to a growing international audience of people keen to learn meditation and develop a deeper spiritual understanding. He has been awarded the John Curtain Medal for his vision, leadership and service to the Australian community by Curtin University. Ajahn Brahm was conferred the title Tan Chao Khun, by the King of Thailand, receiving a monk’s robe every year as a sign of royal patronage of the monastery. Ajahn Brahm holds regular meditation sessions online and has authored a number of books on mindfulness in the modern world.

Ven. Ajhan Jayasaro

Ajahn Jayasaro was born on the Isle of Wight England in 1958 and ordained in North East Thailand in 1980. He was a discipline of Ajahn CHah, one of Thailand’s most renowned Buddhist monks and meditation masters at the Wat Pa Pong Forest Monastery. Ajahn Jayasaro assumed the position of Abbott of Wat Pa Nanachat, the international monastery of Ajahn Chah’s lineage where he remained under 2002. Since 2003 he has been living in a hermitage at the foot of the Khao Yai Mountain National Park offering Dhamma teachings and meditation retreats. He is a key figure in the movement of integrating Buddhist development principles into the Thai education system and has written numerous books on Buddhist themes in the Thai language.

Ven. Bhante Kusala

Born in Sri Lanka in 1987, Bhante Kusala was ordained at the age of 15. With degrees and Masters Qualifications in Pali and Buddhist studies, he serves as a lecturer in the Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy in Kandy, Sri Lanka and teaches Pali through the English medium. Bhanye Kusala has a keen interest in Buddhist meditation, and as such is an ardent and devoted practitioner. He continues to teach in various disciplines of early Buddhist studies and meditation techniques across Sri Lanka, Europe and the USA.
